ARCHDALE - Rod Franklin Keller, 69, died Thursday, October 23, 2025, at his residence.

He was born August 27, 1956, in High Point and was the son of the late Ivey William and Mabel Lee Tysinger Keller. He was a supervisor at Eagle Laser (Formerly Custom Finishers) and retired following more than forty years of service. Rod was an avid golfer and also enjoyed fishing, and woodworking making jewelry boxes for his granddaughters. He also enjoyed the beach and trips with his family to Atlantic Beach, North Carolina.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Scott Hedgecock; a sister, Maldia Hart; and a sister-in-law, Sharon Keller.

Rod is survived by his wife, Evonne Smith Keller, whom he married on November 15, 1986; son, Mitch Coltrane and his wife, Angela, of Archdale; a daughter, Samantha Hedgecock of Trinity; eight grandchildren, Staley Barnes of Eden, Sidney Hedgecock of Lexington, Styles Hedgecock and wife, Cassie, Claire Coltrane, Jake Brouer, and wife, Jordan and Joey Brouer, all of Archdale, Shelby Hedgecock and Sofia Hedgecock, both of Trinity; four great-grandchildren, Styles Hedgecock, Jr., Brynlee Brouer, Cambry Brouer and Braelynn Johnson; brother, William "Bill" Keller of Archdale; and niece, Deara Hart of Oriental, North Carolina.

The family will have a private gathering of family and friends celebrating Rod's life at a later day at their residence.
