Roger was born November 8, 1950 in Weatherford, son of Raymond and Anita (Chapman) Blair. After attending Weatherford High School, he joined the Marine Corps, Serv. Co, 7th Engineer, 1st Marine Division. He served six years including a tour in Vietnam. After his Military Duty he became a licensed plumber in the family plumbing business. Later he joined his father in Land Development which led him to obtaining his Juris Doctorate. Shortly after, he opened a successful private practice in Weatherford, specializing in Criminal Law.  Before attending Law School, Roger and his wife Jennifer became a couple in October 1991 and married on November 16, 1995. They shared a beautiful and loving life together for almost 33 years.

Roger definitely celebrated life and was very talented at everything he set out to accomplish.  He achieved his pilot’s license because of his love of flying.  Roger had several motorcycle and ATV adventures over the years. He could build a house or restore a vehicle from the ground up.  He was a skillful mechanic in many types of motorized vehicles including heavy equipment. Roger could take a struggling business and turn it into something special. He loved to entertain and share his musical abilities and he never met a stranger.  Roger was a gracious giver and was always willing to lend a hand to someone in need.  He will be remembered as a loving and charismatic person to all that knew him.  He will be deeply missed by many.

Roger was a Member of the Parker and Tarrant County Bar Associations.  He also served as Commander of the VFW Post No. 4746.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Anita (Chapman) Blair; and nephew, Trey Wright.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Williams Blair; his sisters, Linda Blair Olson, and Gail Blair; his sons, Rowdy Blair and wife, Denise, Tye Wickline and wife, Sabrina, and Randy Blair and fiancé, Audrey; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many nephews and nieces, including special nephew, Chris Grant; and many other loving family members and friends.
