Memorial service for Roger Glenn Edge “Bubba Edge,” age 61, of Talco, TX will be held from 4:00-6:00 P.M. on October 19, 2024, at Talco Church of Christ.
Join us in remembering the life of Roger Glenn Edge known as Bubba. He was born on January 17, 1963, in Mt. Pleasant, TX, to Billy Dean and Bobbie Faye Edge and he completed his journey of life on Monday, October 14th, 2024, in Talco, Texas. Bubba graduated from Rivercrest High School in 1981. Upon his graduation, he worked in the oil industry. He enlisted in the United States Marines and served in Operation Desert Storm.
Bubba is survived in life by his two children; Madison Nicole Edge of Oklahoma City, OK and Robert Van Colin Edge of Talco, TX. Bubba is survived by his mother, Bobbie Fay Edge of Pittsburg, TX and sisters; Billie and Timothy Neal of Ft. Worth, TX, Jeannie and Terry Williams of Pittsburg, TX, brothers; Mark Bates of Watauga, TX, and Matthew Bates of Godley, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Dean Edge, brother, Robert Lynn (Dirt) Edge, sister, Deannia Kay Edge and both sets of grandparents, Olen and Ella Williams of Talco, TX, and Homer and Ester Edge of Mt. Vernon, TX.
