HALLER

Roger Allen Haller, 74, of Mount Sterling, passed away August 6, 2025, at home. Born on February 20, 1951, in Pickaway County, he was the son of Carl and Geraldine (Dountz) Haller. A 1969 graduate of Grove City High School, he was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He loved hunting and fishing in his younger years and lived in London most of his life where he worked in auto body repair and helped many local farmers. Roger also cared for his wife for many years during her battle with multiple sclerosis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife of 41 years: Marsha (Gambill) Haller on January 21, 2019; brother John (Carol) Haller, sister Barbara (Sonny) Dailey, brother-in-law Larry Schlosser; nephew Mike Haller, niece Kathy Dailey.

Roger is survived by his sister Betty (Jack) Keaton; daughter Wendy (David) Say; nephews Tom (Kellie) Dailey, Jeff (Susan) Haller, nieces Lisa Self, Sonya (Rick) Landry, Lori (Curtis) Drummond, Amber Haller, Christina Haller; sister-in-law Ginger (John) Winowich; a special thanks to his close friends Phil Emrich, Becky Rhinscheld, Al Hill, next door neighbor Olga Yarulino, and to the Mount Carmel Hospice nurses and social worker.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140. A memorial service will begin at 4:00 PM with Mr. Bill Werner officiating and military honors accorded by the United States Army.

Memorials in Roger's name may be sent to support Mount Carmel Hospice, 777 West State Street, Columbus, Ohio 43222.
