Roger Jackson Obituary
Roger was born on January 7, 1949, in Huntington, West Virginia, to Cletis and Helen (Thompson) Jackson and graduated from Rittman High School and the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. He married Carolyn Louise Starling on August 21, 1971, in Rittman, Ohio.
Roger worked as a machinist for Parker Hannifin for many years, retiring in 2011.
Roger was a member of First Baptist Church of West Salem. He loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Surviving Roger is his wife and mother, his daughter, Angela Wyatt of Creston; two sons, Aaron (Sarah) Jackson of Overton, and Adam (Katie) Jackson of Ashland; 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and his two brothers, Gary (Fatima) Jackson of SC, Douglas (Cathy) Jackson of Rittman.
He was preceded in death by father, Cletis Jackson.
Memorial services will take place on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 2:45 p.m. at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman with Pastor Jerry Armin officiating.
Friends may call from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

We are the only two who were born in Huntington. When I return this summer i will leave flowers from the two of us in Patrick Cemetery, most of us are there. I will be there too. Wait for me Rog

I was Roger´s housekeeper at Smithville Western Care Center and he always made my day with his big smile. Such a sweetheart and I will miss seeing him.
