Roger Clyde Moore, 72, of Streator, IL passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2025. He was born on January 30, 1953 in Ottawa, IL and raised in Earlville, IL. The son of Roger and Beverley (Klingerman) Moore. After graduating from Earlville High School in 1970, he joined the United States Army and was stationed in Germany, where he met his wife Lindy and served for 12 years and remained in Germany to live for 25 years. Roger had a fond love for cats, he was known to have several at a time.
He is survived by his one sister, Diane Moore, of Sublette, IL.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lindy and older brother, David.
A graveside service will be held in Roger’s honor at Precinct Cemetery in Earlville, IL on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 11:00 am with Pastor Laurie Walker officiating.
