Age 68, of Warsaw, passed away on September 5, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo.

He was born on August 25, 1957 in Warsaw, son of the late Claire and Beatrice Snyder Raplee. Roger loved his community and enjoyed helping out in any way he could. He brightened the days of many, working various carnivals over the years, including the Warsaw Carnival. Roger would also volunteer his time with food link from the Valley Chapel, the Warsaw food pantry and Kingdom Bound. He was a social member of the Warsaw Fire Department and a Fair Member at the Wyoming County Fair. Roger took the most pride in playing Santa Claus for the community though. He brought joy to people of all ages in his red suit and white beard. He visited nursing homes, rode in parades, and participated in many other community events through the years.

Roger is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jennifer Raplee; his step-sons, Tim Peck, Christopher Jagr, and Rob Rahmlow; his sister-in-law, Wendy (Brian) Smith; his brother-in-law, William White; several nieces and nephews.

Roger’s celebration of life will take place on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 11 AM at the Valley Chapel Free Methodist Church, 3415 Rt. 19, Warsaw, NY. No burial will be made at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Warsaw Fire Department, P.O. Box 229, Warsaw, NY 14569.
