Roger A. Walters, 92, of Naples, Florida and Canton, Ohio, died on August 18, 2025 at his home in Canton surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio and was the son of G.G. and Louise Walters.

Roger graduated from the Gunnery School (Washington Conn.) and attended Dennison University. He served two years in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

After the service, he joined his father at Harrison Paint Corp. He spent 43 years with the firm, becoming President and CEO, before selling the Corp. in 1998.

Roger was a member of Brookside Country Club, Quail West Club of Naples, and was a past director of Harter Bank & Trust, Canton Police Boys Club, and a trustee of Aultman Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his wife Gay and son, G.G. (Chip Walters, II).

Roger is survived by his second wife Freda and daughter Linda. He has two grandsons, four step-children, seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren from his second wife.

Cremation has taken place with a celebration of life to be at a later date, per Roger's request.

The family requests that memorial contributions made be made to the charity of their choice.
