Roma Peña, of Lowell, Massachusetts, was called home to be with the Lord on May 30th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on July 5th in the Dominican Republic, Roma lived a life rooted in faith, love and service. Her relationship with God was the foundation of everything she did. She turned to the Scripture for strength, offered prayers without hesitation and carried peace in her spirit that comforted everyone around her.
As a devoted wife and spiritual heart of the family, she created a home filled with warmth, wisdom and grace. Her life was a reflection of selflessness and quiet strength and her presence held generations together. She is remembered for the gentle joy she shared with everyone around her, brightening even the simplest moments. Her faith never wavered, even in hardship and she passed that strength on to those she loved.
Family and friends can gather to honor and remember Roma on Wednesday, June 4th, 5-9 PM in the McKenna-Ouellette D’Amato Funeral Home, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell, MA 01850.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 10 AM in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 282 Suffolk Street, Lowell, MA 01854. Burial to follow at Lowell Cemetery.
Roma Peña, de Lowell, Massachusetts, fue llamada a la presencia del Señor el 30 de Mayo del año 2025, rodeada del amor de su familia.
Nacida el 5 de julio en la República Dominicana, Roma vivió una vida guiada en la fe, el amor y el servicio. Su relación con Dios fue la base de todo lo que hizo. Acudía a las escrituras en busca de fortaleza, ofrecía oraciones sin dudarlo y llevaba en su espíritu una paz que reconfortaba a todos los que la rodeaban.
Como una esposa devota y corazón espiritual de su familia, creó un hogar lleno de calidez, sabiduría y gracia. Su vida fue un reflejo de entrega y de una fuerza silenciosa, y su presencia unió a generaciones. Se le recuerda por la alegría serena que compartía con todos a su alrededor, iluminando incluso los momentos más sencillos. Su fe nunca vaciló, ni siquiera en los momentos difíciles de su enfermedad, y esa fuerza la transmitió a quienes amaba.
Familiares y amigos podrán reunirse para honrar y recordar a Roma el Miércoles Junio 4, de 5 a 9 pm el la McKenna-Ouellette D’Amato Funeral Home, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell, MA 01850.
La misa de su funeral vas ser el Jueves Junio 5 a las 10 de la mañana en la iglesia San Patricio 282 Suffolk Street, Lowell, MA 01854 seguida del entierro en el Cementerio de Lowell.
