Ronald P. Langlois, age 76, of Prescott, MI., passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family and close friends. Ron was born on November 16, 1948, in Detroit, MI., to the late Robert and Corinne (LaFave) Langlois. Ron was one of five children, three boys and two girls.

Ron was a self-employed carpenter by trade. He was known for his excellent carpentry and fine woodworking skills. He would make family and friends wooden pen and pencil sets, salt & pepper shakers, wooden bowls, and other unique gifts.

Ron married the love of his life, Della (Tobin) Langlois in 2015. They loved spending time together doing Ron's favorite hobby, which was fishing on Tawas Bay. He also enjoyed hunting. Ron was a member at Grace Presbyterian Church in Oscoda, serving as a deacon for many years.

Ron is survived by his wife, Della; brother, Richard Langlois; sisters, Diane Furst and Donna Peters, his in-law's, extended family, and many nieces and nephews.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Raymond Langlois. Family will hold a celebration of life service at Grace Presbyterian in Oscoda at a later date. Per Ron's wishes cremation will take place.
