Ronald Gene Allen, 84, of Gladewater, Texas passed away on April 16, 2023. Ronald was born to Robert and Zella Allen on July 24, 1938 in Haskell, Oklahoma.
Ronald was a family man that believed family always came first. He would do anything to provide for his family. Ronald worked for Crown Cork & Seal for over 30 years before retirement. Once he retired he was able to focus on his family and friends. He enjoyed cat fishing, hunting and spending time working in his yard. The memories Ronald leaves behind will be cherished by all who knew him.
Ronald is survived by his son, Jason Scott Allen and wife Amy of Sugar Land, Texas; grandchildren, Avery Allen and Preston Allen; brother Michael Kent Allen of White Oak, Texas; and niece Julie Groves, who was his primary caregiver; his beloved Chihuahua Maria; as well as many other loving family and friends.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Zella Allen; wife, June Allen; and brothers Billy Wayne Allen and Jerry Allen.
The family will be conducting a memorial service at White Oak Community Church on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 11 o’clock in the morning.
