Ronald M. Feher, affectionately known as Ron to his family and friends, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2024, at the age of 82 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Born on June 1, 1942, in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, Ron was the beloved son of the late Charles and Anne (Kurilko) Feher.
Ron completed his education at Belmar High School and quickly established himself as a skilled technician. He dedicated 30 years of his life to Mack Truck, where his hard work and expertise were well recognized until his retirement. His commitment to his work was paralleled only by his dedication to his family and his love for his community.
Ron was a loving husband to his wife, Myra (Belan) Feher, with whom he shared a lifetime of cherished memories. Together, they raised three children: Kim Feher of North Catasauqua, Blair Feher of Cranberry Twp., and Ron Feher of Whitehall. Ron was a pillar of strength, support, and love for his family, and his guidance and wisdom will be deeply missed.
He was a proud grandfather, leaving behind a legacy through his grandchildren: Taylor Lane and her husband Shane, Alyssa Feher, Kip Feher, Alec Feher, Sophie Feher, and Ava Feher. Each of them will carry forward his spirit of kindness and resilience.
Ron is also survived by his brother, David Kurilko, and his wife Felicia of California, PA, who will remember Ron as a man of integrity and warmth. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Feher, and his sister-in-law, Frances Feher. His memory will be cherished by his many loving nephews and his faithful Chihuahua, Pepper, who was a constant source of joy and companionship.
An avid gardener, Ron took great pride in his lush garden, which was a testament to his patience and nurturing spirit. Friends and family often found him tending to his plants, with Pepper at his heels, and Ron always had a story or a piece of advice to share.
Ron's passion for sports was evident in his love for Penn State and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Watching games was more than a pastime; it was a way for him to connect with friends and family.
Perhaps one of Ron's most cherished possessions was his red truck.
Private services at the convenience of the family. Ron's services have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ron's name may be made to Lehigh Valley Hospice and/or an animal rescue of one's choosing.
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. A message from his loving wife. "Til we meet again"
