Ronald Marvin Gilstrap, age 70, of Terreton, Idaho, passed away on October 24, 2025. He was born on July 5, 1955, in Townsend, Montana, to Samuel and Ruth Gilstrap, the eight of their children.

When Ron was young, his family moved from Townsend, Montan, to Monteview, Idaho, where his uncle Earl and Chick Stewart, owned a farm and ranch. The family later settled in Mud Lake, where his father worked for Furniss Brothers.

Ron Graduated from West Jefferson High School, where he enjoyed playing football and spent several years participating in Rodeo. He began working for Furniss Brothers Pellet Mill during and after high school and later worked for several ranches throughout the area. He completed his career at Idaho Fresh Pak in Lewisville, Idaho.

He is survived by his sister Sally Eberheart (Jack deceased) of Maryland; his brother Kelly Gilstrap of Wyoming; his brother Don (Sandra) Gilstrap of Rigby; his sister Debbie Gilstrap of Idaho Falls; his brother Phillip (Mildred) Gilstrap of St. Anthony; and his brother David (Andriea) Gilstrap of Shelly.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Jay, Terry, and Larry; and his sisters Kay and Sandy.

The family wishes to thank all who have been so kind to Ron and Terry over the past few years.

He requested to be cremated, and a private service will be held at a later date.
