Ronald Wayne Ham, age 66. Born 12/29/59 in Kansas City, KS. Died 1/3/26 in North Kansas City in Kansas City Hospice House.
Ron grew up in Wyandotte County KS and graduated from F.L. Schlagle High School class of '77. He made a career in the flooring industry doing sales and instillations.
He had 4 children, twelve grandchildren and one great grandson. He was Stepfather to 6 other children and Grandfather to their children as well. Ron provided guidance for many youths in the Diocese of West Missouri including multiple Group Mission Trips with the youth from the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd.
He was an active member of The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd and spent many years serving at the altar in many different roles.
He is survived by his mother, Judy Lane (KCMO), his sister Tracy Griggs, husband Steve (KCMO) and two brothers Randy Ham, wife Beth (Lawrence, KS) and Russ Ham, wife Cindy ( LaPaz, Baja California Sur, Mexico), his children, Michael, Ronnie, Jared, Lindsay and stepchildren, three Aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces.
He was proceeded in death by his Father, Floyd M. Ham, his Brother Rick Ham, his Grandparents and Uncles.
Service will be at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd (4947 NE Chouteau Dr, KCMO 64119) on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 2:00 pm with a Celebration to follow at the church.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd Unrestricted Endowment Fund.
