Ronald "Ron" Harshman, age 69, of Elizabeth City, passed away at his residence on Friday, June 27, 2025. Born in Cleveland, OH on April 22, 1956, to the late Joseph Harshman and Anna Lorince Harshman, he was the husband of Karen Weber Harshman.
As an auto body technician, he dedicated his career to his craft, demonstrating skill and commitment in every project he undertook. Beyond his professional life, Ron was an avid fisherman and hunter who found great joy in the outdoors.
Above all, Ron treasured the moments spent with his family. His love for them was evident in the time he shared, creating lasting bonds and precious memories that will endure in their hearts.
In addition to his wife, Karen, of 52 years, he is survived by his sons, Ronald Harshman (Desiree) of Elizabeth City, NC, and Joseph Harshman (Kelly) of Mt. Pleasant, PA; sisters, Debra Harshman of Potomac, MD, and Denise Ahldrandt of Addison, PA; five grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Joseph Harshman.
A private service will be held in Pennsylvania at a later date.
