Ronald "Marty" Horton, 55, passed away at his Washington residence on April 2, 2023. He was born in Indianapolis, August 1, 1967, to John P. and Nancy (Boger) Horton-Chestnut.
A graduate of Washington High School (where he was on the wrestling team), Marty went on to college to get technical training. He was a highly skilled mechanic and metal fabricator who worked for Gottman Truck and Equipment Repair in Washington. A man of many creative talents, Marty loved building and rebuilding his extensive remote-controlled car collection. He enjoyed riding and repairing motorcycles, fishing and found great joy just being the master of his canine companion, Karma.

Marty was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bernard and Mary Boger; his paternal grandparents, Herman and Betty Horton; and two cousins, Brandon Keith Boger and Dakota Boger.
