Ronald Joseph Kupper, age 89 of Louisville passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. He had a life filled with Hope, love, hardship, and most importantly faith.
Ronald was born and raised in Louisville and was proud to say he graduated from Flaget High School, class of 1954. At a young age, after the passing of his father, he stepped up to take care of his family. He started his work life at A&P grocery store. His career started at AT&T in 1957 and he was drafted a year later into the US army. There he worked in the field of telecommunications. After the army he returned to his job at AT&T where he retired.
He met his 1st wife Konnie and they married in 1965 and had three wonderful children. He was diagnosed with TB and was told he would never walk again. Ronnie's will power and Faith was so strong he made a full recovery and returned to normal life. His marriage and home was filled with joy and family adventures. He loved fishing, hosting family party's, where he made his famous Manhattans, and the beach. After being married for 24 years, Konnie went to be with the Lord.
His will to find joy in life, led him to join the wow group where he met his second wife, Audrey. Together they enjoyed many adventures, including trips to Las Vegas, and the gift of retirement. You could always find him sitting on his porch where he would greet everyone with a smile and wave. His life was blessed with love and family, that included 30 grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ronald was a great story teller with wonderful spirit and will be missed by all.
He will be warmly remembered by all who knew him, but especially missed by his family: son, Joseph Kupper (Sherri); daughter, Kimberly Oploh; daughter, Lisa Cann (Mark); stepsons, Mike Brewer (Cindy) and Robbie Brewer (Carolyn); stepdaughters, Ann Ewing (Randy) and Janet DeMasters (Deon); and sisters, Elizabeth A. Fleitz and Mary M. Finch. Also, sharing in Ronald's legacy are 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
