It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Anthony Lorenzo who peacefully passed away with family by his side on August 22nd, 2025. Ronald met the love of his life, Alice (Nied) Lorenzo at Millies ice cream parlor 73 years ago, they went on to have 68 wonderful years of marriage. In addition to being a beloved husband, Ronald was also the devoted father to Deborah (James - Deceased) Lund and Dawn (Joseph) Gallo, was the cherished grandpa of Ryan Lund, Ronald (Sami) Lund, Joseph Gallo, James (Leah) Lund, and Allison (Alec) Kennedy, was the treasured Papa to Audrey, Nora, and Carter Lund, and the loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Mary Lorenzo, sister Virginia (Roy) Paulsen, brother Peter (Jeanine) Lorenzo, and is survived by brother Thomas (Phyllis) Lorenzo and baby sister Rita (Ken) Backe. Ronald had a heart of pure gold and would do anything for anyone at any time. Ronald was a proud member of the U.S. Army, a loyal Chicago Cubs fan, an avid jigsaw puzzler, and a talented craftsman. His happiness and presence was truly a gift to all and he will be deeply missed and his memories will be forever cherished. Everybody loved Ronnie!
