Ronald Stange, 79, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025, in Gainesville, Florida. Born on June 17, 1945, in St. Louis, Missouri, Ron lived a life marked by deep faith, service to others, and a passion for learning and technology.
A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Ron served his country with honor and dedication. His commitment to service extended beyond the military into every aspect of his life. Faith was the cornerstone of Ron's journey-he was an ordained minister and remained actively involved in his church throughout his life. Whether through singing in worship or offering guidance to others in their spiritual walk, Ron's devotion to his beliefs left a lasting impact on those around him.
Ron had a lifelong fascination with technology. He was an avid ham radio operator and enjoyed exploring the ever-evolving world of computers. These hobbies not only brought him joy but also connected him with communities that shared his enthusiasm for communication and innovation.
He is survived by his beloved wife Nancy; his daughters Robin (Brad) and Debbie (Joe); and his cherished grandchildren Samuel, Elijah, and Kaelyn. Ron was preceded in death by his parents Dorothy and Ernest, as well as his brothers Paul, Robert, and Richard.
Ron's legacy lives on through the lives he touched-with kindness, wisdom, and unwavering faith. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
