Ronnie Rene Robinson was called to his Heavenly Home on Monday, August 25, 2025. Ronnie, affectionately known as Dad, Daddy or Coach, was born on October 2, 1945, to the union of Columbus Robinson and Everlina Hynes Robinson and the grandson of the late Cora Hynes and Henry Martin. Ronnie was a graduate of Joseph S. Clark Sr. High, Class of 1963 and a graduate of Dillard University where he received a Degree in Physical Education. Executive Director at St. Marks Community Center before his retirement and was the Owner of Southshore Management LLC and Robinson's VIP Transportation. Ronnie was a member of the New Orleans musical group The Barons and a member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. He leaves to cherish his memory 3 children, Raegan Rene Robinson, Lori Robinson Payton (Justin) and Tyler Rene Robinson; 3 grandchildren, Phoebe Richard, Jaylen and Leia Payton; 2 siblings, Connie Robinson Seymour (James) and Larry Robinson, Sr.; 1 niece, Courtney Seymour Thompson (Omar); 1 nephew, Larry Robinson, Jr.; longtime companion, Sandra M. Dave and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service on Friday, September 5, 2025, 10:00AM at Professional Funeral Services Inc. 1449 N. Claiborne Ave., NOLA 70116. Visitation 9:00AM until service. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
