Ronnie James Simek, of Jarrell, Texas, was born on March 26, 1967, to Frank Sr. and Annie Barbara Simek and passed away suddenly on December 29, 2024.
Ronnie had a beautiful voice and was choir director at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church for 37 years. He sang at countless church masses, weddings, funerals, and was well known for his beautiful singing of Czech hymns. He was a former member of the Taylor Czech Chorus. Ronnie loved his family and his farm animals. His love for horses and childhood dream led him to become a member of the Williamson County Sheriff's Posse Drill Team, participating in the rodeo for 12 years. Ronnie worked for Williamson County for 27 years with the last 12 years being proudly committed to the District Attorney's office.
Ronnie's beautiful smile, playfulness, singing, dancing, horse riding adventures and many tours of his barn and introductions to his farm animal family are our special memories forever.
Ronnie was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Barbara; and nephew, Jesse Peace. He is survived by his 3 siblings; brothers, Frank Jr. (Mary) and Gene Simek and sister, Dianne Peace; and his best friend, David McKeever. He had incredible love and support for his nephews Chris (Denise) and Frank III (Noelle) Simek; Lane (girlfriend, Madison) Peace and niece, Megan (Brandon) Smith. His memories will be cherished by his great nieces and nephews, Kylie Cruse, Stacia (Matthew) Hamline, Joshua Peralta, Brody Simek, Raelyn Smith and Blake Simek.
Ronnie will be greatly missed.
