Rosalie Gore

Rosalie Gore 78 of Winfield, WV passed away on Thursday October 2, 2025.
Born on December 11, 1946 in Logan, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Cuba Fleming Gore.
Rosalie was a highly accomplished and dynamic woman whose life was marked by professional success, a love of learning, and deep devotion to her family and community. A 1964 graduate of Logan High School, she went on to attend Marshall University.
Her ambition led her to New York, where she landed a significant role as an Assistant Vice President at EF Hutton, working there until the firm's closing. Demonstrating a dedication to lifelong learning and a desire to serve others, Rosalie moved back to West Virginia in 1993 and later earned a Degree in Nursing.
A woman of faith, Rosalie attended the Winfield Church of the Nazarene, where she deeply cherished the fellowship of her church family and the wider community of Winfield. Above all, she deeply loved her parents and family.
In her leisure time, Rosalie found joy in gardening and sewing. She also loved traveling and most importantly, writing and calling her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Drema Dillow; and husbands: Charles "Chuck" Dagostin and Harry Machado.
She is survived and will be forever cherished by her sisters: Andra Lloyd, Susan Muncey, Jerri Amburgey, and Terri Nelson; stepson, Keith Machado; grandchildren: Lanie and Grayson Machado; as well as her beloved fur companion, Tuesday.
Funeral Service for Rosalie will be 2:00 pm Saturday October 11, 2025 at Chapman Funeral Home Winfield, WV.
Friends can visit with family one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Rosalie's name to a local animal shelter or that you consider adopting a pet in her memory.
