Rosalind Louise Moss

Rosalind Louise Moss transitioned into eternal peace on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at the Northside Hospital Gwinnett in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Rosalind was born on October 11, 1961, in Sumter County, South Carolina. She was the eldest of two children born to Frances Clark Moss and the late CSMSGT Theo William Moss, Sr.
Her early education began in Washington County, Georgia and extended through Clarendon II and Sumter Distict Seventeen School Systems in South Carolina.. Rosalind graduated from Sumter High School in the class of 1979. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida, Orlando, Florida.
After graduating from the University of Central Florida, Rosalind began her professional career with Sun Trust Bank in Orlando, Florida. She later moved to Georgia where she was employed by Skylight Financial. For the past 10 years, she has been employed by Brightwell, where she worked as a Director of Risk Management. She traveled extensively enrolling crew members of various Cruise Lines with Brightwell and coordinating damage control. Recently, Rosalind received the top award at Brightwell, which is the Most Valuable Person Award. This award is voted on by the entire team of the Company.
Rosalind was a faithful member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church since 1996, where she served in the Usher Ministry. She gave her time and talents and served as Secretary.
Rosalind was a ray of sunshine in this world. She always brought a wealth of knowledge, an insatiable joy for life and unparalleled compassion for her family, friends, and co-workers.
In addition to her father, Rosalind was preceded in death by her brother, Theo W. Moss, Jr.; maternal grandparents, O'Donald Sr. and Frances Wilson Clark; paternal grandparents, Eddie and Mary Fowler Moss.
Fond memories of Rosalind will be forever cherished by her loving mother, Frances Clark Moss, Sumter, South Carolina; Godfather, Edward Robinson, Sr., of Columbus, Georgia; Godmother Barbara Irvin of Orlando, Florida; one aunt, Annie Mae McQuiller of Sumter, South Carolina; a special cousin, Ruby M. Williams-Times (Alphonso), Sumter, South Carolina; God-sisters and brothers; Erica Irvin, Erica Rogers, Rhonda Stewart, Vicky Duncan,Reginald Irvin (Elaine), Derek Jones, Gerald Watts; three life-long friends, Benita Duncan Evans, Connie Ford, Gerard Reynolds, and a host of family members and friends.
