Rose Salvatore

Rose A. Salvatore of Cromwell, CT passed away on Monday, October 20th at the age of 97 with her loving family by her side. She was born and raised in Rocky Hill on November 12th, 1927, to the late Vito and Rose Cuircina Allessio. Rose worked at Connecticut Foundry as a secretary then later became a cost accountant for Prototype Plastic Mold Company. Eventually, she moved to Cromwell, Rose enjoyed bowling and baking. She was known for her apple pie and home-made raviolis; she also made beautiful wedding cakes for the family.
Rose was predeceased by her husband John and her son-in-law Mark Bucheri. She is survived by her daughters Rosemarie Bucheri, Trisha Melino and son-in-law Frank, Donna and Joan Salvatore; she also leaves her grandchildren Kyle Bucheri, Brett and Kim Bucheri, Michael and Kristen Melino and Nicholas Melino; as well as two beautiful great grandchildren Noah and Leah Melino.
There will be no Calling Hours, a Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00am Thursday, October 23 at Church of the Incarnation 544 Prospect St. Wethersfield, CT with a burial to follow in the Rose Hill memorial Park 580 Elm St. Rocky Hill.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to the Middlesex Hospice Care at Home 117 Main St. Extension, Middletown.
