Roseann, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Echo Hills in LaVista, Nebraska.
Roseann was born January 4, 1939, to Elmore and Rose (Kielty) Brink. She graduated from St. Francis High School in Humphrey, Nebraska in 1956 and earned an Associate's Degree in Teaching at St. Mary's College in Omaha, Nebraska in 1958.
On February 7, 1959, Roseann married Eugene "Gene" Frisch at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Humphrey, Nebraska.
Roseann dedicated her life to family, faith, and service to others. She began her career as a teacher in Omaha before moving to the farm with her husband Gene. There, she continued teaching in St. Bernard (St. Ben), but after starting a family, Roseann chose to devote her time to helping Gene on the farm and raising their children.
A gifted musician, Roseann had a deep love for music and was especially talented at playing the piano and organ. She faithfully played the organ at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church west of Madison every Sunday, serving her church community with quiet dedication.
Roseann and Gene shared a love for travel, especially to Estes Park, Colorado. In 1984, they followed their hearts and moved there, spending four joyful years in the mountains before returning to Norfolk, Nebraska.
In Norfolk, Roseann managed the Family Weight Loss Center, where her dedication and success were recognized nationally-she was honored at a convention with a Rolex watch. She later transitioned to a role with the City of Norfolk, where she worked until her retirement.
Creative and hardworking, Roseann had many talents and hobbies. She loved reading, baking, crocheting, and sewing. She made countless beautiful cakes for special occasions, especially weddings, and lovingly crafted quilts for her family and friends. In retirement, Roseann and Gene began quilting together, donating many of their creations to Least of My Brethren in Omaha.
More than anything, Roseann loved being present for her children and grandchildren. She rarely missed a game, recital, or special event, always cheering with pride and love.
Roseann's life was a beautiful example of devotion, creativity, and quiet strength. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.
Roseann is survived by her husband, Gene; children, Frank Frisch of Valley, Janet (John) Lapour of Omaha, and Lisa (Randy) Wilcox of Norfolk; twelve grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Pat Brogan.
The family would encourage those attending the Mass to wear red in honor of Roseann.
Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.homeforfuneralsinc.com.
