Rosemarie Brachel Obituary
Rosie was born on September 30, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan. She was a daughter of Norbert and Florence (nee Jagello) Kluczynski. On January 14, 1956, she married Richard "Dick" Brachel at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Detroit. Rosie worked many jobs throughout her life, realtor was her last and favorite, as she loved showing families their forever homes. She enjoyed music, shopping, gift giving, trips to the casino to play slots, and loved watching her favorite soap and the news. Rosie loved her family and spending time with them. Her greatest joy in life came from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rosie will be greatly missed by her loving family and all who knew her.
Rosie is survived by her children, Brian (Kathy), Cheryl (Ray) Babisch, Kevin (Colette) and Dan (Sandy); grandchildren, Starlah (Katie), Jessica, Chris (Ashley), Cayla, Liz (Kevin), Shannon, Olivia and Andrew; four great-grandchildren and two on the way; brother, Phil Kluczynski; and many nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, extended family and friends. Rosie was predeceased by her husband, Richard; two infant sons, Craig and Thomas; brother, Paul Durak; and parents.
Visitation for Rosie will take place on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service at Hauss-Modetz Funeral Home, 47477 Romeo Plank, Macomb. Rosie will be laid to rest with Richard at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly at a later date.
