Rosemary Rozkiewicz

Rosemary Rozkiewicz, age 75, of Shelbina, MO, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, MO.
Rosemary was born December 4, 1947, in Lakenan, MO, the daughter of Walter and Mary (Paul) Sweeney. She was united in marriage to Vincent Michael Rozkiewicz on September 4, 1976 in Shelbina, MO. He preceded her in death on November 8, 2011.
She is survived by two children Frank Rozkiewicz (Amber Hines) of Shelbyville, MO and Teresa Lee (Anthony) of Sanborn, IA; six grandchildren, Mika Zeiger, Kamron, Dustin, Alex, Kasside and Kelsie Rozkiewicz; a special cousin, Daisy Davis; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family member; and many church friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one infant sister, Martha Mae Sweeney; and two brothers, John Sweeney, and William Sweeney.
Rosemary was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shelbina, MO and the St. Mary's Altar Society. She was an animal lover and especially liked her dogs. Rosemary enjoyed the outdoors and often would enjoy nature walks. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shelbina, MO with Father Bill Peckman as the celebrant, followed with the burial at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Shelbina, MO. Visitation will precede the mass at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home of Shelbina starting at 9:30 am. Memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Catholic Church.
