Rosemary Defreese Stevens, born July 7, 1938, entered into eternal rest on May 23, 2024. Mother of Robert Mann Jr of Stony point (Joyce) Patricia Powell of Walden NY, Marlene Mann of Liberty NY, Edwin Mann Sr. of Hillburn NY (Penny) Phillip Mann of Walton NY, Margaret Mann of Roscoe NY, Eddie Baker of Monticello NY (Mariah). Grandmother to Trisha, Lenny, Brandon, Robert, Melissa, Heather, Amanda, Jason, Cheyenne, Angela, Joey, Mike, Joanna, Consuela, Steven, Edwin Jr, Leonard, Joseph, Stephen, Eddie Jr., Jeanette, Christine and Great Grandmother and great great grandmother to a host of great and great, great, grandchildren. Rosemary had a multitude of family members nieces, nephews, and cousins. Rosemary is the sister of Margaret Marte (Efrain) and Edward Defreese, predeceased by her brother Philip Defreese, and Rueben Defreese, and her sister Irene Foss. Rosemary was also predeceased by her parents Marietta Burris Defreese and Rueben Defreese. Rosemary was also predeceased by her late husband William Stevens. Rosemary was a person who loved God loved to go to garage sales with her sisters every weekend, loved to laugh and learned that she loved to travel later in life. She was an amazing yodeler and could belt out a yodel that would catch everyone's attention. She was a lifelong resident of Mahwah New Jersey and moved to Walton New York about 20 years ago. She was known as Rose mom to many, everyone loved her and she was everyone's mom. She will be sorely missed by her family and all those who knew and loved her.
