Rosie R. Puente

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rosie Puente, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Rosie was the devoted wife of the late Gabriel Puente of Stafford, TX. Born in Houston, TX, in 1938, she was the cherished daughter of Procoro and Mary Ramirez and grew up surrounded by a loving family.
Rosie enjoyed a long and fulfilling career in retail and as a corporate professional, where she formed meaningful friendships with her coworkers before her retirement. Family was of utmost importance to her, and she dedicated her life to loving and nurturing her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Diana Hernandez, and husband Erick of Richmond, TX; her son, Gabriel Adam Puente, and wife Belinda of Fulshear, TX; and her son, Steven Puente of Stafford, TX. Rosie cherished her sister, Bertha Snyder, and leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Erick Gino Hernandez, Steven Vinie Hernandez, Tristan Puente, Amberly Puente, Trinidad Puente, Gabrielle Puente, and Flora Puente. Additionally, she is survived by her adored great-grandchildren: Sophia Hernandez, Ethan Hernandez, and Evelyn Hernandez, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Rosie is preceded in death by her parents, Procoro and Mary Ramirez; her husband, Gabriel Puente; and her siblings: Bill Ramirez, Raymond Ramirez, Josephine Ramirez, Margaret Ramirez, Theresa Schulze, and Mary Carmona. An incredible person, Rosie brought joy and love into the lives of everyone around her. Her passion for playing bingo provided many evenings of laughter, excitement and fun as she gathered with her husband, family, and friends to enjoy the game together.
A devoted Houston Astros fan, Rosie enjoyed watching and cheering for her favorite team. Rosie also loved shopping, often reaching out to her daughter Diana for delightful excursions to find the best bargains. Rosie will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. In this time of grief, let us remember her warmth, generosity, and the love she shared with her family. A legacy of love will continue to resonate in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear Rosie. You will forever hold a special place in our lives.
