Roy John Bellio, Jr., 75, of Monroe, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe.
Roy was born on January 6, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois to Caroline Conway Bellio and Roy John Bellio, Sr. He was a retired chef at various restaurants and was a member of The Assembly in West Monroe. He enjoyed playing golf and was so good at it he thought about turning professional but decided to pursue another path. Roy enjoyed watching Nascar and riding bikes with the love of his life and of forty-six years, Brenda McMullen Bellio. His two main passions in life were cooking and his family whom he loved dearly. Roy lived a wonderful life and will be missed for all the joy he brought to his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Bellio of Monroe; children, Melanie DeBord and her husband Rick of Channahon, Illinois, Trisha Nagel of New Lenox, Illinois and Michael Bellio of Monroe; siblings, Robert Bellio of Chicago and Mary Lou Pugliese of Glen Ellyn, Illinois; four grandchildren and nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members who he loved dearly.
Private cremation services were handled by Griffin Funeral Home in Monroe.
