Roy Brock, age 73, a resident of Middlesboro, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the Middlesboro A.R.H. with his loving family at his side.
He was born on February 5, 1952 in Middlesboro to the late Wayne and Ethel Sowders Brock.
Roy was a kindhearted man who greeted everyone with a handshake and a big smile. A fixer of all things, he was the ultimate handyman who could make or repair anything needing tending to. His labor of love was using his hands to help others, whether it was a simple repair or a big job. Roy also had a green thumb and could grow anything. In his free time, he was an avid University of Kentucky Wildcat, Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Braves fan. Roy also worked as a milkman for 27 years at Flav-O-Rich, a job he enjoyed so much.
Roy had a heart of gold; he loved children and made everyone a dear friend. His sweet smile, kind heart and warm handshake will forever be held precious and dear to all who loved Roy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Helen Brock, Mable Brock and Jean Mayl, brother Walter Brock, and grandson Matt Marble.
Left to cherish his memory, loving wife Cathy Rich Brock, sons Freddy Brock and John Brock, daughter Noel Marble and husband Dean, grandchildren Miranda (Bryan Ferguson) Ridings, Peyton Brock, Nikki (Ricky) North, Trey Horton and Andrew (Chelsey) Marble, great-grandchildren Amelia (Millie) Ridings, Jocelynn (J.J.) Jarvis, Elizabeth (Lillie) North, ArieElla Marble and Gabe Marble, siblings Paul Brock, Betty Longworth, Katherine (Steve) Martin and Margie (David) Wyatt, as well as a host of many other relatives and friends too numerous to name, but all who will miss him so dearly.
The family of Roy Brock will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Astor Simpson presiding. Music will be provided by Mr. Alva Cunningham.
