Roy V. Moore, age 56, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025. He was preceded in death by his father, Verner Moore. Mr. Moore is survived by daughter, Amber Moore and husband, Ryan Motes of Flowery Branch, GA; son, Dylan Moore of Winder, GA; two grandchildren, Hannah Taylor and Tori Taylor; three step-grandchildren, Annabelle, Ellie, Emerson; mother, Linda Mooney Duncan of Gainesville; brother, Scott Moore of Gainesville; nieces, Andrea Moore and Amy Walker; nephew, Bentley Moore; and several cousins. Mr. Moore was born on September 19, 1968 in Gainesville, GA and received his education at Johnson High School. He was a retired boat builder for Lazy Days Boat Company in Buford. Mr. Moore loved working on automobiles, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Bagwell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 6 from 1:00 p.m. until time for the service at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Flanigan Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses in memory of Roy Moore.
