Ruby Lee Underwood, age 29, passed away on May 18, 2025, at 12:26 AM in San Antonio, Texas. Born on March 17, 1996, in San Antonio, Ruby lived her life boldly and fearlessly, always surrounded by love and laughter.
Ruby was the beloved daughter of Diana Medina and the late Cliff Underwood. She was a devoted sister to Richard, Jesse, and Jeremy, and a loving mother to her two cherished children, Sofia and Christopher "CJ."
A 2013 high school graduate, Ruby went on to pursue her passion and earned her certification as a welder. She was a strong, hardworking woman who thrived in a field that matched her bold spirit. In her free time, Ruby could often be found riding her motorcycle, a reflection of the fearless and free soul she was.
Ruby also devoted her weekends to the softball fields, cheering on her daughter Sofia. Supporting her children and being present in their lives was her greatest joy, and she never missed a chance to show them how proud she was.
She had a radiant personality and a laugh that could fill any room. Her presence was unforgettable-full of light, energy, and joy. She had a gift for making people smile and bringing others together. She surrounded herself with family and friends who meant everything to her, and she, in turn, meant the world to them.
Ruby will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of everyone she touched. We find comfort in knowing she is now reunited in heaven with her grandma keta watching over us with love in peace.
