It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Ruth Agnes (Hyer) Gall 91, of Somers CT on Monday November 18, 2024. Born on February 23,1933 in Hartford Ct to the late Harold and Agnes (Mazeike) Hyer. Ruth worked for over 25 years for Westvaco Envelope Division in Enfield Ct as a machine operator. Ruth was a loving mother and grandmother that and was especially happy sharing her time with her loving family that she adored.
Ruth is survived by her son, David Gall and his wife Carolyn, her granddaughter Dana, and her grandsons David and James, all who reside in Somers CT.
Ruth is also survived by her brother Richard Hyer and his wife Linda, from Spring Hill Florida, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Ruth is predeceased by her sister Barbara (Szarek) Hyer from Rockville CT and Harold Lee Hyer Jr. of Palatka FL.
A Funeral Home Service will take place on Monday, November 25, at 11:00 AM at Somers Funeral Home, 354 Main St., Somers. Burial will follow in St. Catherine's Cemetery, Broad Brook. For online condolences, please visit www.somersfuneralhome.com.
