Naugatuck - Ruth S. Glick, 95, passed away on March 10, 2025, at Beacon Brook Health Center. She was the wife of the late Louis H. Glick Sr. for 27 years.
Mrs. Glick was born on October 11, 1929, in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Fritz and Ottilie (Cabel) Semrow. She was raised in Naugatuck, graduating from Naugatuck High School as Valedictorian. She was a 30-year employee of Peter Paul, retiring in 1989.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and was recognized as the Citizen of the Year by the Naugatuck Grange. She enjoyed traveling in her early retirement years with the senior center, enjoyed spending time gardening, and making memories with children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Glick is survived by her sons Louis Glick Jr. (Rochelle) of Prospect and Gary Glick (Teresa Carroll) of Naugatuck; her grandchildren Krista Kelly (David), Jason Glick (Kimmi), Amy Bertrand, Michael Glick (Christina), and Jeffrey Glick; her great grandchildren Ryan Bertrand, Logan Kelly, Paisley, Bentley and Remy Glick; her sister Anna Luschenat; her sister-in-law Ellen Glick; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she is predeceased by her 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
Arrangements – A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 1 pm at Grove Cemetery, and there are no calling hours. The Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorial Contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 170 Coen St., Naugatuck, CT 06770.
