Ruth Lindsey Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory on Sep. 22, 2024.

Ruth Ann Lindsey

49, of Indianapolis, devoted Christian, daughter, wife, and mother, passed away on September 22, 2024 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis. Ruthie was born on October 2, 1974 in Tucson, Arizona to the late Michael Morgan and Patricia Ann (Kirby) Morgan, who survives.

Ruthie served as secretary at Life Line Baptist, serving alongside her husband, Pastor Tim Lindsey II. However, her greatest joy was being a stay-at-home wife and Mom. A self-proclaimed TV-a-holic, she loved keeping up on the latest True Crime Mysteries and Hallmark movies. Additionally, she enjoyed reading and studying the Bible, cooking, shopping, spending time at the beach or the pool, and doing crafts. During her brave battle with cancer, she always remained faithful and peaceful in her journey. She was always thinking of others and their needs before her own. She will be remembered for her incredible hugs, kisses, her warm personality and the incredible knack of remembering every child’s birthday at church.

In addition to her mother, Patricia Morgan, she is survived by her devoted husband, Pastor Tim Lindsey II; children Abigail Ann Lindsey Shadday and her husband Bryce, Timothy Alan Lindsey III, Allison Elaine Lindsey; siblings Donna Lynn Morgan, Rex Michael Morgan; nephews Cameron Rex Morgan, Mason Joel Morgan, Brett Enrique Morgan, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends, who will miss her dearly.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Ruthie’s life on Wednesday, Sept. 25th from 4-8pm at Life Line Baptist Church, in the LIFE Center, 13387 N. Slideoff Rd. Camby. An additional hour of visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 26th from 10am until the services, beginning at 11:00am in the church sanctuary, with Dr. Tim Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow the services in West Newton Cemetery.
