Ruth Alice Linz (nee Keiser), aged 92 passed away on December 17, 2024. She was a beloved wife, Mom, Grandma and Sheepma who will be missed by all who loved her.
Ruth was born on December 4, 1932 in Cincinnati, Ohio to William Lester Keiser and Martha Keiser (nee Schrader). She attended Taylor High School and Wilmington College.
Ruth enjoyed gardening and was known for baking a wide variety of Christmas cookies. She was an active member of Monfort Heights United Methodist Church and enjoyed bible studies and luncheons out with her friends from church.
Grandma /Sheepma loved visits from her grandchildren and caring for them when they were young. Over the years, Grandma and Grandpa proudly attended many sporting events, concerts, and theater performances smiling with pride.
Ruth was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leonard Linz. She is survived by her children, Laura (Eric) Kunkel, Linda (Danny) May and Bill Linz. She will be missed by her grandchildren Jay (Tasha) Helcher, Julia Kunkel (Jacob Scott) Jack Kunkel, and Mary Clare Kunkel (Alex Mills). Ruth is also survived by her brother Richard (Ruth) Keiser and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Monfort Heights United Methodist Church, 3682 W Fork Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45247, on Friday, December 27 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will immediately follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45231, at 1:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made in Ruth's name to the Monfort Heights United Methodist Church. www.springgrove.org
