Ruth (Wainwright) Lipppincott, died September 20, 2024
age 96, born November 21, 1927, lived in Columbus, NJ.
She is predeceased by her husband, Edwin Lippincott as well as her brother, Charles Wainwright, and two sisters: Grace Reed and Rita Carty.
She grew up in Hedding, NJ on her family farm and moved to Columbus when she married Ed.
Ruth has two children: son Brent Lippincott (wife Cindy) of Roebling NJ and daughter Lauren Giguere (husband Marc) of Conway, SC. Grandchildren include Ed Lippincott (wife Samar) of Roebling NJ, Amy Lippincott of Roebling, NJ, Paula Floyd (husband Joshua) of Virginia Beach, VA, and Danielle Monroe (husband Liam) of Rutland, VT. Great-grandchildren include Alex Lippincott of Roebling, Wells and Connor Monroe of Rutland Vt., Lorelai and Joshua Floyd, Jr. of Virginia Beach.
First and foremost, she loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren always keeping their pictures by her side. She also loved the Philadelphia Phillies, never missing a game on tv. One of her favorite trips was seeing them in Spring training many years ago.
Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 10-11AM, at the Hedding United Methodist Church, 2289 Old York Road, Hedding, NJ. Funeral services will follow at 11AM, at the church.
Interment will be in Columbus Cemetery, Columbus, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hedding United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 25, Columbus, NJ 08022; or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, 38105.
