Ryan,
I have so many great memories of you from the past. Our friendship faded into the background as years went by but I will always be grateful that you were in my life. You were welcoming, kind, full of wit and truly had a heart of gold. I´m heartbroken for your family and friends whose lives have been shattered by this tragedy. You will forever have a spot in my heart. The world will never be the same without you.
Rest easy, Ryan.
Love always,
Belle

I am from NYC and I was touched by Ryan's activism in wanting to make the world a better place. I was saddened, shocked and angered from what happened to him. I nearly shed tears seeing and envisioning the tragic events that cut his life short. He did not deserve what happened to him. To the friends, family, and colleagues of Ryan Thoersen Carson, from everyone in NYC and myself included, we sincerely apologize for what happened to him. I hope we would find peace and comfort in times of sorrow and keep his memory alive. God bless you all.

My deepest sympathies in your time of mourning. Though I didn't know him well, what Ryan was able to accomplish during his too-short time on Earth humbles me and will stay with me throughout my life. We can all only hope to match a fraction of his passion, generosity, and humanity.
