Sally Blair Obituary

Published by Legacy on May 29, 2025.
Sally, age 67, was called home to heaven on May 27, 2025, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Born in Bristol, CT her heart and her faith led her to Texas as a young adult. A devoted Christian, she spent much of her adult life in Texas following her passions of spreading God's word, ranch life, working with youth and young adults, western horse riding and western dancing. She cherished each horse she owned, especially her beloved Peanut Butter. If there was a rodeo to see or a chance to two step, you'd find Sally there.
While her heart was in Texas, her family was in Connecticut. She leaves behind her sister Nancy and husband Peter Malsheske, niece Holli and her children as well as niece Heidi and husband Matthew Lombardo of Southington where Sally spent many summers attending sporting games and adventures with her great nieces/nephews Dylan, Jayden, Alexa and Nathan. Sally also enjoyed lunches with her cousins, visiting friends and attending the local country fairs when she was in Connecticut.
She was predeceased by her parents Ernest and Virginia Schultz of Connecticut.
Special thanks to Sally's friend Vickie Meacham, San Angelo, TX who cared for her during her battle with cancer and prayed with her confessing their true faith and devoted love in God.
Special thanks to Sally's life-long friend Pat Bednaz of Connecticut for her help and support in these troubling times.
A celebration of life will be held in Connecticut. Burial will be private.
John 3:16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
