Sally Irene Breski

Sally Irene Breski, a spirited and loving soul, passed away peacefully at home on January 4, 2024, at the age of 75. Born on August 14, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, she was the cherished daughter of the late Derwood and Delorse (Dean) Cobb. Sally's adventurous spirit and warm heart left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Sally's life was marked by her dedication to her family, her passion for sports, and her love for the great outdoors. She is survived by her two devoted sons, Richard Cobb of St. Clair Township and Edward Breski of Imlay City, and her adored grandson, Richard Wayne (Kristen) Cobb of Dallas, Texas. Her sister, Diane, preceded her in death, leaving Sally with cherished memories of their time together.
A lifelong fan of the Detroit Lions and the Red Wings, Sally's enthusiasm for her teams was infectious. She could often be found cheering them on, whether from the stands or her living room. Her love for sports was paralleled only by her love for her family and the simple pleasures of life.
Sally's early years were spent helping her aunt on the farm, where she learned the value of hard work and the joy of being close to nature. This connection to the land stayed with her throughout her life, as did her love for adventure and horseback riding. In her younger years, Sally relished the opportunity to travel up north, where she would spend her days boating and fishing, embracing the beauty of Michigan's lakes and forests.
Professionally, Sally was known for her unwavering reliability and kindness as a school bus driver for the Richmond and Algonac schools. She took great pride in her role, ensuring the safety and well-being of countless children over the years. Her caring nature made her a favorite among students and parents alike.
Sally's life was a testament to the power of living with an open heart and a sense of adventure. Her legacy will live on in the stories shared by her family and the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
