Sally Jo Fraser, 82, of Ellwood City passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Heritage Valley - Beaver.
Born March 2, 1943, in Ellwood City, and raised on Squaw Run Rd., she was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Jean (MacMurdo) Maxwell.
Sally graduated from Lincoln High School and for over 20 years was employed by the Beaver Valley Medical Center as a Clinical Tech. She was a devoted and active member of Calvin Presbyterian Church. Above all, family was the most important part of her life.
Survivors include son, John Fraser of Ellwood City; daughter, Jean (Pete) Roberts of Ellwood City; two grandsons, Ryan (Gabriella) Roberts and Braden Roberts; sister, Judith (Maxwell) Morabito of New Brighton; sister-in-law, Shirley (James) Maxwell of Ellwood City; and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 30 years, Jack Fraser in 2000; son, Michael Allan Fraser; sister, Elizabeth (Maxwell) Meyer of Ellwood City; two brothers, James L. and Thomas W. Maxwell both of Ellwood City and her brother-in-law Alfred Morabito.
Friends and family will be received on Saturday October 11, 2025, from 3:30 pm until the funeral service at 6:30 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Rev. Sean Brubaker will officiate. Interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
