Heck, Sally A. (McConaughey), 73, Mount Union, passed away February 17, 2022, at UPMC Altoona. Born June 8, 1948, Mount Union, daughter of the late Chester L. and Charlotte (Casner) McConaughey. Preceded in death by her loving husband Paul F. Heck; brothers, Luther, and Ronald McConaughey; daughter Nancy Kay Burke; stepdaughter, Cheryl Heck; and great grandson’s, Bracten Russell Fisher, and Alexander Burke. Survived by her children, Donald F. Burke Jr. and wife, Judy, Mount Union PA; Joseph M. Burke and companion, Chrissy Souders, Mount Union, PA; Melissa A. (Burke) Huffman, Lewistown PA; Robert D. Burke Sr., and companion, Helen Whitsel, Shirleysburg; 2 stepchildren, Donald Paul Fisher, and Tina Heck; brothers, Anthony McConaughey and wife, Anita, Columbia PA; Rex Allan McConaughey and wife, Barbara, Coplay PA; 13 grandchildren, Whitney, Jordan, Austin, Jennifer, Justin, Robert Jr., Schae, Je’Saun, Ray, Zack, Samantha, Douglas, and Christopher; 12 greatgrandchildren, Damion, Braden, Izabella, Braxton, Brylen, Airilynna, Raiden, Cayson, Jonah, Chloe, Briella, and Luna. Sally attended the Cedar Crest Independent Baptist Church. She worked at Bleyer Gift Packs LLC for 26 years. Sally was also den mother of cub scout pack 276. She enjoyed watching football and Nascar so she could cheer on her beloved Dallas Cowboys and her favorite driver Jeff Gordon. Sally loved lighthouses, the outdoors, camping, and going on vacation with her family. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday February 23, 2022, from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., and Thursday February 24, 2022, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., Pastor James Barton, officiant. Interment to follow at Haven Rest Memorial Park. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E. Shirley St., Mount Union.
