Sally Ann MacDonald, age 69, of Peru, passed away with her loving husband, Ken, by her side on May 25, 2025, at The University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont.
She was born in Plattsburgh, the daughter of Edward "Bud" and Judy "Eva" (Blake) Bezio, and grew up in Keeseville.
She most recently lived at Covel Way in Peru but was fortunate enough to have lived with Ken all over the country, throughout the years.
After Sally graduated from AuSable Valley Central School in 1973, she met Ken in 1975 and they were married the following year on May 29, 1976.
She began her career as a Home Health Aide for Clinton County, graduated from Spencer Business School in 1988 and was an office manager for Ken's business for many years.
Sally enjoyed cooking, reading, and traveling, especially to lakes and mountains. She also had a great love of theater, music and dancing; she and Ken were fortunate to have seen many concerts, Broadway shows and even to have met some of her favorite musicians.
Her sense of humor and beautiful loud laughter always brightened the room. She was a kind, generous soul often giving to charities and even more to those she loved.
Sally is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ken; her siblings, Richard Bezio, Susan Bezio, and Melissa Reilly; many cousins; and nieces and nephews.
Sally was predeceased by her parents; her siblings Robin Bezio, Michael Bezio, James "JP" Bezio, and Peter Bezio; as well as her loving fur babies U2 and Rex Boy.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 5 pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home 124 Clinton Street in Keeseville, with Rev. William G. Reamer, officiating.
