Sally Ann Steiner (Shumway, Gelinas, Hayden), 74 of Brandon Florida (originally from Charlemont MA), passed away peacefully the morning of Friday, September 1, 2023 due to complications of pneumonia and other chronic illnesses. Sally enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles and arts and crafts during her retirement at Cloudberry Lodge of Brandon FL. She was accomplished in Executive Administrative services at Phoenix Life in Massachusetts and then enjoyed driving school buses for public schools in Massachusetts and Florida. Sally was proudly elected the first female Student Trustee at Mt. Wachusett Community College in Massachusetts from 1984 -1985, where she also earned her Associates Degree in Executive Secretarial Curriculum in 1985. Sally was preceded in death by her Mother, Gladys T. Shumway, Father, Harold T. Shumway, Sisters, Carole and Linda Lou and grandson James Hartmann. She is survived by her Brother, David Shumway (location unknown), son Clifford A. Gelinas II (location unknown), daughters Heather Ann Gelinas of PA, Tammy Louise Wilkerson of FL, grandchildren, Kellsey Mae Nesbitt of CA, Brandon DeWitt Smith of FL, Andreas Hartmann and Stephon Hartmann of PA, Meleana Anne Wilkerson of FL and great grandchildren Brandon DeWitt Smith Jr. of FL and Eliam Nesbitt of CA. The family will be gathering to honor Sally's memory and placing her to rest in Maine in the coming spring.
