Sally A. Vivirito

Sally Vivirito (née Magyar), born September 18, 1962, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 30, 2024. She was a loving wife, cherished sister, and dear friend whose presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
Sally is survived by her devoted husband, Richard Vivirito; her brother, Robert (Jill) Magyar; nephews, James, Robert, and Joseph; her beloved grandmother, Helen Kiss; stepmother, Janice Magyar; stepbrother, Robert (Christy) Patzin; loving uncle, Joseph (Cookie) Kiss; father-in-law, Vincent Vivirito; sisters-in-law, Diana Vivirito and Shari (Paul) Taylor; brother-in-law, Frank (Nancy) Vivirito; and many close cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Grayzeck; her father, Josef Magyar; grandparents, Steve Kiss and Ambrose & Maria Goehrig; mother-in-law, Carol Vivirito; and brother-in-law, Vincent Vivirito.
Sally's love for animals was evident through her care for her adopted rescue cats and dogs, including her current companion, Sammy. She also enjoyed the creative joys of scrap booking, cooking, and baking, finding happiness in these passions.
A viewing will be held on September 21, 2024, at 9:00 AM, followed by a Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Peter Damian Chapel, 309 E. North Ave, Bartlett, IL 60103. A private luncheon for family will take place afterward. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to local animal rescue organizations near Palatine, IL, including:
