Obituary of Samuel Phillip Cusimano
Samuel Phillip Cusimano ("Sam", "Sammy"), born in Chicago IL, to Frank Cusimano and Josephine Cusimano (Balesteri) on December 30, 1968, following brother, Frank and twin sisters, Annette and Jacqueline. Samuel attended Nathan Hale Elementary and John F. Kennedy High School in Chicago's South Side neighborhood of Garfield Ridge by Midway International Airport.
After high school, Sammy attended trade school for truck driving. From working for companies to owning his own truck, he worked proudly for over 35 years!
Samuel fathered his only child, Haley Cusimano in 1992 and became a proud grandfather to Vallerie White in 2015. He was a devoted family man; Father; Grandfather; Fiancé; Son; Brother; and Friend.
He lived life to the fullest till his last breath, dancing and singing off-key! He loved his family dearly and was always everyone's first-call type of person with the biggest heart and kindest soul.
Samuel was called to Eternal Rest on March 30, 2025. He will be loved and missed deeply by all who had the honor of knowing him. Samuel left to be cherished by his daughter, Haley Cusimano; Granddaughter, Vallerie White; Fiancé, Teresa Morris and her two children, Caitlyn Morris and Nicholas Morris; older brother, Frank Cusimano; older twin sisters, Annette (Anthony Horan) Cusimano and Jacqueline Cusimano; younger brother, Michael Cusimano; many nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; and a host of beloved friends.
A celebration of life for Samuel will be hosted by Haley Cusimano and Teresa Morris at Sammy's favorite venue, Corrigan's located at 700 W. Jefferson Street, Shorewood, IL 60431 on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for a Family lunch and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for "Drinks with Sam" to celebrate his short but cherished fun-filled life!
Sending with Love,
