Samuel Jackson Elder

Samuel Jackson Elder, age 49, of Suwanee, GA passed away during the early hours of Saturday, December 27, 2025. He is survived by his father, Bill Elder of Suwanee, mother, Rosaleen Burke Elder of Suwanee; sister, Jena (Peter)Camacho of Flowery Branch; nephews, Dominic Camacho, Xavier Camacho; aunts, Jean Hintz, Marie (Kenny) McIntosh, Nonie Burke, Irene (Thomas) Scarlett; uncles, John (Mary) Burke, Robert Burke, Martin Burke; great uncles, Patrick (Catherine) Doherty, and Shawn (Kathleen) Burke of Donegal, Ireland; and several cousins. Mr. Elder was born on September 13, 1976 in Derry City, Ireland and was a 1995 graduate from Buford High School where he played football and baseball. He was employed with ULTRA Commercial Interiors and was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Elder loved baseball, football, the Braves and spending time with his nephews and family. Requiem Mass will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at Flanigan Funeral Home on Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon and again at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church on Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.
