Sandra Kay Ballard

Wooster - Sandra (Burandt) Ballard, age 77, of Wooster, formerly of Naples, FL, died Monday, Novemebr 24, 2025, at Danbury Senior Living in Wooster, following a period of declining health.

Sandra was born on December 8, 1947, in Barberton, Ohio, to the late Lester and Bertha (Carlson) Burandt, graduated from Norton High School in 1965, and attended Akron University. She married Dennis Robert on August 14, 1965, in Michigan. Dennis survives.

She worked as a Business Representative for AT&T in the Akron and Cleveland area for 28 years, retiring in 1994.

Sandra was a member of United Church of Christ and the Airstream Club of Akron, where she served in an officer's position. She enjoyed quilting, travel by Airstream, all over the states, and also loved international travel.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Dennis, are daughter, Traci (T.K.) Kuykendall of Malvern; four grandchildren, Josh Miller, Austin Miller of Akron, Brenton Miller, and Chance Miller; sisters, Lila Robinette and Carol Gatchell; niece, Margie Fowler and nephews, Ken Gatchell and Mark Gatchell.

Friends may call on Monday, December 1, at Auble-Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman Street, Wadsworth, from 12-1pm.

Services will follow at 1pm on Monday at the funeral home, with Pastor Adam Marquette officiating. Burial will take place at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth.
