Sandra Struck "Sandy" Dougherty

Sandra Struck Dougherty (Sandy) of Louisville passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the age of 60.
She was born May 29, 1963 in Louisville, one of four children to Thomas Raymond Struck and Lolly Thornbury Struck, who precede her in death.
Sandy was a 1981 graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and received her bachelor's degree from Eastern Kentucky University. She was a benefits counselor for Colonial Life and worked in the insurance business for many years.
Sandy was the most selfless individual who would drop whatever she was doing to help those she loved. Her happy place was on the beach or pool side with a good book in her hand enjoying the sunshine. The thing that brought Sandy the most joy in the world was becoming "DeeDee" to her two grandsons, Calvin and Cooper. She cherished every moment spent with them.
Sandy is survived by her daughter, Megan Goodman (Cameron); grandsons, Calvin and Cooper; sister, Amy Hinkebein (Tom); brothers, Chris and TR Struck; and nieces and nephews.
